Gauher,
You hit the nail right on the head partner. I have had to unsubscribe from several email lists just for the simple fact that these "Gurus" flood my inbox with whatever "latest, greatest, life saving product" they are promoting that day.

I appreciate that you only send out quality information.

To Success,

John

I sometimes open a stranger's email based on the subject line but will always open an email of a friend or someone that I want something from....

And that is the conundrum of email marketing and copywriting...if you can build a trust or have something valuable that someone actually wants, more often than not, they will open your emails.

The key is getting to that point...how do you do it? Do you do it personally through chatting and networking? Do you set yourself apart from the hordes of other email marketers that would rather get numbers by volume and not much else?

I look at the sender's name or his email address. I won't bother to check email from strangers.

Right on! I very rarely if ever look at the subject lines of emails from Internet Marketers, rather the name of who it's from. It's all in the name for me and which way the needle on the junk email meter tips.
