eZine articles at one point was good for that application, however… it got over saturated.

SEO is no longer putting your eggs in one basket. It amazes me how many people have built hundreds or thousands of backlinks without optimizing for the On Page SEO things like title, meta, h1 tags, and url keyword targeting.

Long story short, don’t think about SEO as a set of tricks that will get you fast rankings. Think of SEO as practice that you constantly improve.

I’ve been doing SEO for years, but I am still listening with much respect to Jeff’s comments. He’s a smart guy.

Thanks for the action plan Gaugher, although I think Jeff seriously understated how much work goes into backlinking to get these blogs in the SE’s.

I have 200 ezines pointing at one of my sites and it’s doesn’t even rank in the top 50 for hardly competitive keyword phrase.
