Product Launch Saturation

Product launches are great. Ever since Jeff Walker introduced the idea of product launches, many companies and individuals have gone on to make millions of dollars from their product launches.

But there comes a point where a product launch can flop in a market even though it may provide great value.

When product launches first started launching in the IM world, there were one or two good launches every week. Fast forward to today and things have changed with almost two to three launches happening in the IM world per DAY.

I own both Jeff Walker’s “Product Launch Formula” and Frank Kern’s “Mass Control”, which teach you how to building up excitement in the market so that you have an avalanche of sales when you open up to take orders.

Both are good products, but the success of a product launch really comes down to one thing.

Here is a nutshell is what powers a successful product launch.

Ready?

The joint venture (JV) partners.

You could follow both Jeff and Frank’s courses to the tee, but if you don’t have any major JV partners, your launch will likely flop.

In the last months, there have been dozens of failed launches in the Internet marketing arena.

The major reason is the spread of the top JV partners over multiple launches. In almost every product launch, the top 10% of JV partners are responsible for roughly 90% of all the sales.

Seriously.

There are major influencers in the IM world that control the bulk of sales for an IM launch. Now with multiple launches happening everyday, not every launch can get the top 10% of JV partners to promote because they are committed to other launches.

Depending on whether you can get the major influencers in your market to commit, it can make or break your launch.

Now back to the Internet marketing world.

This is the classic example of too many product launches in a market not big enough to handle them all at the same time.

My advice?

Build your own powerful list with a kickass converting backend that brings in money on autopilot.

This is exactly what I covered in great detail at my sold out Traffic-Leads-Conversions seminar a few weeks ago.

With your own list, you sell out your own products and events without having to rely on JV partners or affiliates.

Even though having JV partners and affiliates is great, the less reliance you have on them, the better long-term sustainability your online business will have.

Control the traffic. Control the leads. Control the conversions.

Control your destiny.
