So What’s Your Excuse?
A few months ago, I flew down to the Traffic Domination workshop, put on by Keith Baxter and Jon Shugart, held in Atlanta. I had the pleasure of meeting an individual by the name of Matt Wadsworth.
Matt is originally from the UK and he started marketing online just a few short years ago. He has already built a million dollar empire in these few short years in markets outside of Internet marketing.
Although there are many online marketers who have made millions of dollars online, none of them have had to overcome the challenges that Matt did.
What was Matt’s challenge to online success?
Matt was born blind.
That is what makes what he has done very extraordinary.
Matt has never seen a sunset, watched a movie or looked deep into the eyes of a loved one.
All the things WE take for granted.
Yet he is still one of the most giving, humble, down to earth guys I have ever met. We were both on the same flight back to Toronto from Atlanta and had a lengthy conversation about Internet marketing, family and life in general.
He also remarked to me as we were descending into Toronto that his life is good.
Listen to the audio file below for our discussion on how he did it.
Click Here To Listen (Or Right-Click to Save)
I constantly receive emails from people who whine about being broke, having bad luck, or no time to build an online business.
My point is that if Matt can create an online empire without the ability to see, it really makes other people`s excuses for failure seem relatively insignificant.
I encourage you to sign up to Matt’s email list as he offers great and inspirational advice on a regular basis.
I look forward to your comments.
Best wishes,
Gauher Chaudhry

It really makes any excuses that I may have had in the past for not doing certain marketing methods seem incredibly small. I also saw a show on HGTV called House Hunters and they had a couple buying a home the husband was blind. When they said what he did he was a clinical Psychologist. He also said he really wanted a home near public transportation so he could get to work on his own. Awesome!!

As soon as people stop focusing on the reasons behind their failures, either being broke, bullied, ugly or they think they’re not smart – Success will come to them. Everything we do stems from a mind set.
Check out ET the hiphop preacher – This guy and his videos helped turn my attitude around

Get your mind right, and success will follow. Just don’t expect it to be overnight.

Gauher,
Sorry about the last comment. Please delete it and this paragraph.
When I saw your email, I thought, “Oh, boy, another JV partner trying to sell me something.” I’m about sick of everyone trying to sell me products left and right. Honestly, I was about ready to hit that back button after reading the first sentence because there was no way in H-e double hockey sticks that I was buying another IM product. No way, never again. At this point in my IM career, I have read so many ebooks, free and paid, that by now I ought to have taken considerable action. I know as much as an intermediate to advanced marketer; yet my action is of a preschooler. I’m not buying any more books or the next best technique. I know the truth. Internet marketing is not a secret. No one has any special unknown strategy that can’t be found somewhere online. And the best way to get results is to test ideas and techniques yourself. No ebook can give you that experience.
So anyway, I was going to hit that ol’ back button, but somehow I kept reading. Glad I did too. And I am so excited, motivated, and blessed that you sent out that email after all. You know why?
Because I am totally blind myself!
That’s right–can’t see a thing. And I think you just gave me the inspiration I needed all along. All those ebooks I read and all the webinars missed the element that I so desperately needed. Who would have thought that it would show up for free? And in an email I was about to throw away.
I want to thank you so much for that email, Gauher. I have someone I can talk to now about problems only blind people face. I have my motivation, courage, and desire. I CAN DO THIS AFTER ALL. I don’t have the excuse, “Well, I’m blind. They all have it so much easier than me.” Now I can say, “If someone else is blind and making money online, then I have no excuse not to do the same.” Thank you so much for sending out that email. I’m signing up to his list right now. You’ve given me new hope and new courage. I WILL succeed. And no matter what you’re facing right now in your life–even when you think you’re at your wits end–with enough courage and will power, you’ll succeed too.
All the best,
Genevieve

Sure makes you think about things now doesn’t it?
If a blind man can be positive and make the best of what he has, then you must ask yourself what is your excuse…
There is none! Just do it…

Gauher,
Even with two eyes and glasses, I still haven’t been seeing as clear a path to success as Matt presented in this interview. Thanks for the inspiration to keep focused and to keep pushing forward.

You know, the thing that attracted me to this article was how Matt built a million dollar empire from internet marketing. But, the real substance of what I got from reading it and listening to the interview, is that Matt provides his value in such an easily receivable manner. He really gives simple, applicable advice and it just makes good sense! I have already signed up for his email list, and am looking forward to hearing more good stuff from him. Thank you Gauher for this great article/interview and spreading the value!

Many thanks Gauher for sharing this inspiring story.
It’s clear evidence that the only people who hold us back in any endeavor of our lives are ourselves. We have no one else to blame, no excuse whatsoever…unless success is not a priority!
I like the place where he says, “When you open that door in your mind, all sorts of things happen.” That confirms once again that all change comes from within. As they say, change is a door which only opens from the inside. Let’s open that door today guys and take action.
All the very best to all of us.

Hi,
Thanks for posting this here. People do whine too much sometimes and this may be a bit of help to the way they see things. I say only whine after you actually give it your all

No matter how bad you think you
have it, it could be worse.
It’s interesting how out minds work
because our problems seem to be really
bad and hard to overcome, that’s our
reality.
We don’t know how strong we can be until
we have to be. I love the phrase, “you can do it”. I am not saying I have done it, but I am
trying.
Thanks for the inspiration Gauher.

Hi Gauher
A timely interview for me thank you Gauher. I understand how trying to make money online out of desperation can have you chasing your tail, becoming overwhelmed with too much information and so on.
I try to live by one key principle that I felt came through strongly in this interview with Matt i.e. be thankful for your lot in life no matter what your situation. The important thing is to be thankful and count what blessings you do have. You can guarantee there is always someone else worse of than you. Life is truly a blessing and a gift to make the best of and it really is all about relationships.
Thank you again Gauher.
